This scene might inspire a new line of programming called “Twink Romance”. Sammy and John are perfect examples of Freshmen twinks- young, slim, innocent and extremely horny. They are lacking one thing however- a tan. John has an especially pale complexion and is prone to burning rather than tanning whenever he goes out in the sunshine. While they might not like hot weather, they certainly like hot action with this scene falling into the “romantic” category.
